When I returned to my hometown (Dhenkanal) after retirement, I realised it is difficult to gather information regarding various requirements:

1. My friend’s elderly parents need regular attention and care. Sometimes he has to move out due to various requirements. We could not find anybody who can render such services.
2. I want to hire a mechanical auger machine but do not know where it will be available.
3. My coconut tree needs to be cleaned of dry branches and ripe fruits, but I am unable to locate anybody who can perform this job.
4. There are many working couples who need a babysitter for their kids.
5. If I want to buy anything, I should not only get information about vendors but also be able to contact them easily over telephone.
6. If I want to give messages like Birthday, Obituary, Buy/Sell Notice, Advertisements, there should be a platform where such things can be posted conveniently and at nominal cost.

I want to make Dhenkanal the best place to live. To the best of my knowledge, there is no website in India which caters to such requirements.

Due to constraints of resources and time, this website has not achieved its full potential. Please circulate this among your friends and colleagues so that more and more information is added to this portal.
